May 1: Boisterous

Every journey begins with a small step. Our first step is 24 hours of aeroplanes and airports (Melbourne, Singapore, Dubai, Cairo). Judging by the sample size of one Emirates flight, Arabic children are certainly very boisterous. On a less racially-stereotyped note, we certainly have the feeling that the Arabic world is going to be something quite different. Except perhaps for Vicky who works in Broadmeadows. The day ends with a 14 hour nap.
